Following another sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, madcap nonsense-maker Tony Law is back on the road, bringing his brand new stand-up comedy art show: Enter the Tone Zone to venues across the UK from Falmouth to Glasgow and many more in between. The tour starts at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff on September 30.
According to his press release, the show is an opportunity for fans to "dive into the Zone of Tone for life affirming, changing comedy of a sort. Let Tony lead you in a collective breakdown as we explore the depths of his psyche. Have your cores dismantled and reassembled, your timeline joyously disturbed. Comedian, artist or healer? Can Tony fix you with ART? Maybe."
It goes on to add that "previous visitors to the Tone Zone can expect more and less of the same but ultimately something entirely brand new and different. The show will feature magical shapes, an original song, some truly heartbreaking nonsense and will tackle world issues through the medium of dance. In the end you’ll realise it’s a bit about the fear of death."
Tony Law’s recent TV and radio credits include: Have I Got News For You (BBC1); Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Heading Out, The Culture Show, Charlie Brooker’s Weekly Wipe, Edinburgh Nights (BBC2); 8 Out Of 10 Cats (C4); The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central), Tony Law’s Surreal Guide To Surreal Comedy (Radio 4 Extra), Loose Ends and Infinite Monkey Cage (Radio 4).
Law is also the cover star of the first edition of new comedy magazine Stand & Deliver. See here.
