Joshua Ross was crowned Jewish Comedian of the Year on Saturday night. The competition, hosted by Gareth Berliner as part of the current Jewish Comedy Festival, took place at cultural centre JW3 in north London. The other finalists were Candy Gigi, Joe Jacobs, Danny Hurst, Ben Van Der Velde and Sarah Sheldon. Ross wins £1000 and a trophy. The judges were comedians Arnold Brown and Viv Groskop and me.
