Broadcast Date Confirmed for Last Series Of Inside No. 9 – Reece Shearsmith Says Don't Read Interviews

New Trailer From Final Series Of Inside No 9

The date has been confirmed for the final series of Inside No. 9. Aptly it's the ninth series.

The opening episode will be entitled Boo To A Goose and it will be broadcast on BBC Two at 10pm on Wednesday May 8. The still here is from that episode.

Beyond The Joke saw the episode at a BFI screening earlier this year but out of respect to the makers' requests will not reveal anything further here apart from the cast and the BBC blurb, which is as follows:

"Late-night passengers get stuck in a tunnel when their train breaks down. Patiently, they wait for the replacement service until a nurse gets her purse stolen and tempers start to fray."

As well as Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton it also features Siobhan Finneran, Mark Bonnar, Susan Wokoma, Joel Fry, Philippa Dunne, Charlie Cooper and Matthew Kelly and is directed by George Kane.

Reece Shearsmith tweeted: "nterviews and press (ie spoilers) for the last series will begin to emerge soon. Don't read it. Try and resist for one last time. #insideno9"
