The Kennedys looks like it may be set to return for a second series in 2016.

Writer/creator Emma Kennedy was answering a Twitter enquiry about whether the first series would be available on DVD* and wrote: "Not for a very long time (ie next year when series 2 goes out)". She later added that "We don't know for SURE until end of Nov."

The Kennedys starred Katherine Parkinson, Dan Skinner, Lucy Hutchinson, Harry Peacock, Emma Pierson, Shola Adewusi and Clive Rowe and is set on a 1970s estate on Stevenage. The first series recently finished its run on BBC1. It was loosely based on Kennedy's best-selling book The Tent, The Bucket and Me.
