Forbes has released a list of The World’s Highest-Paid Comedians 2016. Kevin Hart leads with a whopping $87.5m, more than double the next entrant to the list.
Amy Schumer is the first woman to make the list. The only Brit to make the top ten - boosted by tour earnings - is John Bishop with earnings of $7m.
Since 2006 Jerry Seinfeld has topped the chart. His combined earnings over the last 10 years top $900 million. For the first time someone else has taken Forbes' top place. Between June 2015 and June 2016, Kevin Hart made $87.5 million - over $30 million more than Seinfeld’s $43.5 million.
