Comedy Central UK has announced that it will be re-commissioning two new series of Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip.

Following the success of the first series, which smashed ratings records achieving the highest ever 16-34s audience for a UK commission on the channel, and in advance of the second series this autumn, Russell Howard & Mum: Road Trip will return in 2018 for a third and later fourth series. 

The two new six-part series will see episodes increased in length from 30 to 60 minutes and will further explore Russell’s funny, warm and engaging relationship with his mum, Ninette, as they meet an array of weird and wonderful characters across Northern Europe and Asia.
