Comedian-turned-chat show host Graham Norton is the BBC's third highest paid star, according to figures released today.
In 2016/2017 Norton was paid between £850,000 and £899,999, although that doesn't actually include his BBC1 talk show as it is made through a deal with an independent production company.
Chris Evans, who was presenting Top Gear during the period, topped the chart, being paid between £2,200,000 and £2,249,999.
The highest-paid woman for the same period was Claudia Winkleman, who was joint eighth with Matt Baker, trousering £450,00 - £499,999. Further down the chart Mel Giedroyc earnt £150,000 - £199,000 as did sitcom writer Roy Clarke.
