The final has taken place today of the Amused Moose National New Comic Award at The Space @ Symposium Hall in Edinburgh.
Nine finalists made it from 500+ initial entries. They were Helen Duff, Huge Davies, Jack Gleadow, Joseph Emslie, Michael Clarke, Olga Koch, Rob Oldham, Rosie Jones and Sam Whyte.
The winner was Jack Gleadow, who recently won the New Comedian Of the Year Final at the Great Yorkshire Fringe.
Breakthrough performer was recent English graduate Rob Oldham. See his full Fringe show Brink, here until August 27.
The winners will both appear in the Amused Moose Comedy Awards showcase at Soho Theatre on Monday 16 October.
