Need an extra helping of Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon's brilliantly tasty gastronomic tour of Italy? Then wait no longer. The DVD of their latest series, The Trip To Italy, is out next Monday, but just to whet your appetite here is one of the previously unseen extras from it in which affable but-not-quite-as-affable as his TV persona Rob Brydon persuades Steve Coogan to do an impression of former Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock as they cruise through Tuscany. The very funny result is not bad at all considering that Coogan probably hasn't done Neil Kinnock that often since he was doing voices for Spitting Image in the 1990s.
The Trip To Italy is out on DVD on Monday, May 12. There is also a Series 1-2 box set as well as a double boxset containing feature length film versions of The Trip and The Trip To Italy, also both out on May 12. Read the BTJ review of the series here.
