The Greenwich Comedy Festival returns to Greenwich later this year with an all-star line-up and a new sponsor. The Magners Greenwich Comedy Festival will take place in the setting of the National Maritime Museum grounds from September 24 - 28. The festival was due to move to Brick Lane last year but then in the end was cancelled.
The line-up will include Rich Hall, Milton Jones, Nina Conti, Cardinal Burns, Ardal O'Hanlon, Mark Thomas, David O'Doherty, Seann Walsh, Carl Donnelly, Kerry Godliman and many more.
The festival, previously held at the Old Royal Naval College, has presented a host of the biggest and best names in the business since the inaugural event in 2009. Previous guests have included Reginald D Hunter, Russell Howard and Bill Bailey. Thousands of comedy lovers from across London and beyond have flocked to the festival over the years to see shows under the Big Top and this year promises to be no exception.
Each night of the festival will offer a mix of world-class comedy in the Big Top and Little Top, live music on the Bandstand, bars and gourmet street food in the picturesque surroundings of The Queens House and National Maritime Museum.
