Podcast Deals for Mo Gilligan And Babatunde Aleshe

Global, the Media & Entertainment group has announced a collaborative podcast partnership and first look audio deal with award-winning production studios, Lucky 17.

The partnership will bring Lucky 17’s production and presenting talent to Global’s world class podcast studios, and enable the podcast launches to benefit from Global’s marketing infrastructure.

As part of the partnership, Global has also commissioned two brand-new podcasts from L17 including Mo Gilligan’s Beginning, Middle and End, an immersive interview series from the triple BAFTA winning mega-star Mo Gilligan. Across the series, Mo interviews some of his favourite big name stars about the moments that made them and the legacies they want to leave. The second is an exciting new format from TV’s fast rising comic star Babatunde Aléshé and his entrepreneur wife and parenting influencer Leonie, who will take listeners on a laughter-filled cross-cultural journey through the timeless landscape of childhood and parenthood.

In addition, Global will welcome the successful Ain’t Got A Clue format, fronted by award-winning broadcaster Marcus Bronzy and comic sensation Kae Kurd, as a Global Original.

Chike Orakwue (pictured) and Eleanor Lawrence are producers for Mo Gilligan’s Beginning, Middle & End and Babatunde & Leonie Aleshe: Then & Now, and both will be co-produced with the presenter’s own production houses. David Geli and Pollyanna McGirr are Executive Producers.

L17 is part of the multi award winning company collective The UTC Group. David Geli, L17 Creative Director said: “L17 is company with huge creative ambition and we’re incredibly excited to partner with Global’s exceptional podcast department on this cutting edge new collaboration. We’re passionate about developing and supporting both presenter and production talent to deliver outstanding content and we can’t wait to build something truly remarkable with the Global team.”
