Comedian and co-founder of Sunday Assembly Sanderson Jones has used some of his comic initiative and sales experience to sell his two bedroom South London flat.
After the initial sale fell through at the eleventh hour Jones had to think fast so he decided to make a video to go with his Purple Bricks listing.
While the two bedroom flat in East Dulwich had a lot going for it, Jones decided that the unique selling point was the swimming pool in the communal garden.
He tweeted: "The estate agent said we just had to wait for more interest. But I thought...what if I make a dumb joke advertisement for it? Which was how Sam and I invented the genre of 'property comedy' / propcom...pps. It was all shot within COVID regs."
This meant that in the depths of winter he had to stand in the pool singing its praises. He insisted it was warm. We are not convinced. But I bet it's lovely in the summer.
Before starting Sunday Assembly, Sanderson was a full time stand up comedian taking sell out shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival. His greatest feat was playing the Sydney Opera House in 2012, having sold all the tickets by hand so he certainly has a good track record as a salesperson.
The property is on sale for £425,000.
