Comedian Ellie Taylor is to record a second series of her Radio 4 show Safe Space. In the last series she tackled monogamy, motherhood, masculinity and the environment, and she’ll have four more subjects to examine/be angry about this time round.
Tickets are now available for the Zoom recordings in which she will be joined by her loyal sidekick Robin Morgan.
Dates for recording are Friday 9 April and Friday 23 April
Online access from: 7pm. Recording starts: 7.30pm
Tickets for these recordings are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
You can apply for a maximum of one ticket per recording and if your application is successful you will only be allocated tickets for one recording date.
Successful applicants will be invited to watch and listen to the live recording using Zoom.
In order for the BBC to be able to record reactions throughout, you will also be given access to their Virtual Audience Recording system, which will need to be opened in an up-to-date version of Google Chrome on a PC or Mac (tablets and phones are not currently supported). You will be able to hear reactions from other audience members live to recreate the feeling that you’re part of a live audience.
Audience members will be encouraged to react in the same way you would in a theatre - laugh, applaud and react whenever you want to, and when we mix everything together it will sound amazing!
