The BBC has confirmed the transmission date for the start pf the new series of This Time with Alan Partridge. It will begin on Friday 30 April at 9.30pm on BBC One. 

The series will once again star Steve Coogan as the hapless presenter now co-hosting a primetime magazine format. His co-presenter, Jennie Gresham, will once again be played by Susannah Fielding.

Now established as the show’s co-presenter, the series follows Alan on air and off as he tries to cling on to his position, in the face of behind-the-scenes upheaval and Alan’s fears that his relevance is dwindling.
