The date has been confirmed for the return of hit sitcom Motherland.
The comedy following the chaotic lives of the school run mums will return to BBC Two on Monday, May 10 at 9pm.
Series three includes a guest appearance from Joanna Lumley as the mother of stuck-up mum Amanda (Lucy Punch).
On playing Amanda’s mum, Joanna Lumley said “I have played Lucy’s mother before, in the film 'Ella Enchanted': so it was a special treat to pitch up again as another fairly poisonous parent in ‘Motherland'. Although I was only in for a day it was the greatest fun to be with that dangerously talented cast.
The series also stars Tanya Moodie, Line of Duty star Anna Maxwell Martin, Paul Ready, recently seen in The Terror, Diane Morgan and Phillipa Dunne.
Motherland is created by Sharon Horgan, Graham Linehan, Helen Serafinowicz and Holly Walsh. Series three is written by Holly Walsh (Dead Boss), Helen Serafinowicz (Motherland series one and two), and Barunka O'Shaughnessy (Lethal, Timewasters) and the Story Editor is Sharon Horgan.
Executive Producers are Clelia Mountford, Sharon Horgan and Holly Walsh.
The series iss produced by Caroline Norris and directed by Simon Hynd. Motherland is a Merman Production with Twofour.
