News: Rebecca Humphries Speaks At House Of Commons About Coercive Control

The central cast has been revealed for the eagerly anticipated UK version of French comedy Call My Agent, which has been a hit in the UK via Netflix.

The English language version of the show called Dix Pour Cent in France is being written by John Morton, who is most famous for his satirical skewering of the BBC on W1A.

This version of the Parisian comedy was planned before the pandemic, but shooting is now finally about the start. The French version is famous for its star cameos from icons such as Sigourney Weaver and Charlotte Gainsbourg, but no UK cameos have been named yet.

Deadline has confirmed the cast members as follows.

Starring will be Lydia Leonard (Absentia) as Alexa, loosely based on Camille Cottin’s character Andréa Martel; Jack Davenport (Pirates Of The Caribbean, This Life) as Jonathan, based on character Mathias Barneville; Maggie Steed (Chewing Gum) will be Stella; Prasanna Puwanarajah (Patrick Melrose) is Dan; Harry Trevaldwyn (The King) will be Ollie and Hiftu Quasem (Killing Eve) will play Misha.

Also starring will be Fola Evans-Akingbola (Siren), Rebecca Humphries (Trigonometry, pictured), Blackadder's Tim McInnerny, newcomer Eleanor Arnaud (Nu), and Oscar-winner Jim Broadbent (Iris).
