Last year also saw Rob’s one-year special daily podcast, The Rob Auton Daily Podcast, announced as the British Podcast Awards 2020 Winner for Best Daily Podcast (sharing the category with The Guardian's Today In FocusBBC Radio 4's Beyond Today and ITV's Love Island: The Morning After.) With 1.4 million listens and counting, the bursts of funny and often poignant spoken word and music provide commentary on everyday life and injections of respite, and are being released as ‘Best Of’ monthly episodes throughout 2021. In 2013, Rob won the Dave Funniest Joke of The Fringe award.
