Acclaimed comedian Phil Wang is set to headline a special one-off gig from The Evening Standard in association with Uber.
Also appearing at The Big Comedy Night onSeptember 7 are Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Jessica Fostekew, musical comic Huge Davies and Evelyn Mok. The compere is one of the breakout stars of Celebrity Gogglebox, Babatúndé Aléshé
Wang is currenbtly riding high in the comedy world - his Netflix stand up special Philly Philly Wang Wang was recently released. And on September 16 Wang's debut book Sidesplitter: How To Be From Two Worlds At Once is published by Hodder.
He has appeared on countless shows including hosting Live at the Apollo (BBC2), Have I Got News For You (BBC1), QI (BBC2), Would I Lie to You? (BBC1), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (C4), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Drunk History (Comedy Central), The Great British Bake Off: Extra Slice (C4) and was one of the competitors on series 7 of Taskmaster. Previously, Phil recorded a fifteen-minute stand-up special for Netflix as part of The Comedy Lineup, one of only two non-US acts in the series.

The Evening Standard Big Comedy Night in association with Uber will take place at the Underbelly Festival in Cavendish Square on September 7. Tickets are £15.
