American football comedy Ted Lasso has had seven wins at the Emmys out of the 20 nominations it received, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
Jason Sudeikis, who plays Ted Lasso, was named best lead comedy actor, while his British co-stars Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein won best supporting actress and actor.
"This show is about family, it's about mentors and teachers, it's about team-mates," Sudeikis said. "And I wouldn't be here without those three things in my life."
Goldstein said starring in the show had been "one of the greatest honours" of his life.
The nominations in Goldstein's category also included three other stars of the same show – Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), Nick Mohammed (Nathan) and Jeremy Swift (Higgins).
Other winners included Jean Smart winning best lead actress in a comedy series for her performance in Hacks.
The ceremony was hosted by US comedian Cedric the Entertainer.
