Little Dot Studios has commissioned and produced a digital series, titled The A-Z of Blackness, in partnership with Dane Baptiste, which has launched on the comedian’s YouTube channel.

From Aggression to Zulu, Dane Baptiste provides his personal comprehensive glossary of terms in relation to Black culture. This 6 part series will be uploaded weekly to Dane’s official YouTube channel and covers every contemporary part of the Black vernacular for those that want to know and those that think they know.

Tom Hemsley, Executive Creative Director, Little Dot Studios said: “From the very beginning we were excited by Dane’s vision for this series, its immediate concept and his drive to build new work on social as an alternative to conventional broadcast. I hope the A-Z of Blackness will resonate with and inform a wide audience in the same way it did with us.”

Dane Baptiste, added: “In an increasingly sensitive world with racial tensions at an all time high, I wanted to make a show that was unabashedly funny, poignant and black; from the clothing I wore to the crew I put together to film the series, with the potential audience reach of the whole world! Especially with Kwanzaa coming up. If you don’t know what Kwanzaa is, you gotta see the show.”

The A-Z of Blackness forms part of a continuing series of original digital strands produced and commissioned by Little Dot Studios (an All3Media company) centred around both up and coming and established stand up comedians.
