It's the final edition of The John Bishop Show this week and he has some pretty good guests to help him bid farewell.

James Blunt, who has become a bit of a social media legend thanks to his pithy self-mocking putdowns on Twitter, might mention that he recently joked that he would release new music on the platform if Spotify didn't remove Joe Rogan.

James Blunt’s recent concert in Leeds made headlines when a fan was carried out of the gig by security guards while Blunt contnued to play. Reports say they had been drinking and were ejected for being rowdy.

Bishop and Blunt are joined by taboo-busting comedian Katherine Ryan who is currently on tour with her latest show Missus and appeared as a guest on TV show Unforgivable with her baby. Ryan recently revealed that she has potty trained her 8 month old son Fred. She posted on Instagram: ""For those who know about my potty training emoted and success with baby Violet...Fred reliably wees on the potty at under 8 months and we can count the amount of 2022 soiled nappies on one hand."

Katherine starred in, wrote and executive-produced her sitcom The Duchess, which was released in 2020 and leapt to the top of the Netflix UK chart. She has filmed two critically-acclaimed Netflix Global stand-up specials – Glitter Room and In Trouble. Katherine was recently seen hosting primetime BBC Two jewellery-making competition series All That Glitters and ITV2’s marquee show Ready to Mingle. She is also due to star in Backstage with Katherine Ryan for Amazon in which she she talks to fellow comics backstage.

Her podcast Telling Everybody Everything frequently tops the podcast charts, and is hosted by market-leader Acast.
