‘Congrats on the new…’ is a comedy podcast from comedian, improviser and new dad Steen Raskopoulos. Each episode features a friend from the entertainment industry attempting to promote their new film, tv show, book, app or diet plan. The twist is, it’s made up and the guest doesn’t know what they’re promoting until Steen tells them at the start of the episode. The previous 36 episodes have seen an incredible line up of guests including James Acaster, Sara Pascoe, Hamish Blake, Olivia Munn, Lolly Adefope and many more.
Producers Turtle Canyon Comedy release the podcast through Global and have lined up an incredible twelve episodes for this fourth season. Steen is a master of improv, appearing on Whose Line Is It Anyway? (Australia) and running his own sell-out improv shows in the UK and Australia, from which this podcast was born. Steen expertly guides the guest through the interview, adding to their answers and helping to create a unique and hilarious show each time.
