Due to overwhelming demand, award-winning comedian Ed Gamble extends his brand-new stand-up tour Electric with over 35 more dates nationwide from September 2022. Having been on the road since February, playing three sold out nights at London’s Hackney Empire, Ed will kick off with a rescheduled date in Loughborough on 3rd September followed by the new dates from 17th September at Dunfermline, Alhambra Theatre, including a performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 22nd September and finishing at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre on 20th November.
This follows a twice extended sold-out UK tour of his previous stand-up show Blizzard and his comedy special Blood Sugar, which has hit the top spot as most watched stand-up special on Amazon Prime. Winner of series 9 of Taskmaster (UKTV/Channel 4), star of Mock the Week (BBC Two) and co-host of chart topping Off Menu podcast, Ed can currently be seen as one of the judges on the popular BBC2 series Great British Menu and has just been announced as a contestant on The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer (Channel 4).
After a sell-out tour of his house in 2020 (extended into 2021 due to popular demand), Ol’ Broken Pancreas is charged up and ready to flick the switch on another round of attention seeking in 2022.
As well as being a co-host on Radio X’s Sunday morning show, TV stand-up appearances include Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One), Live at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central) and Conan (TBS). His numerous guest appearances include QI (BBC Two), Would I Lie To You (BBC One), Hypothetical (Dave), The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), I’ll Get This (BBC Two), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC Two), Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Warrior (Dave), Insert Name Here (BBC Two) and Roast Battle UK (Comedy Central).
Ed first came to prominence playing Georgie Carlton in two series of Almost Royal (BBC America/E4/Netflix) and co-wrote series 3 and 4 of Greg Davies’ sitcom Man Down (Channel 4), as well as appearing in two episodes.
