Last Leg Guests This Week Plus Josh Widdicombe's New Stand Up Show

Watch Suella Braverman Get Pranked On The Last Leg

Adam Hillsm Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe welcome more guests onto the Last Leg this week to discuss hot topics such as the Conservative Leader Talent Competition and the Women's Euros. The guests this week are Sayeedi Warsi, Frankie Boyle and Jess Robinson.

Hopefully Baroness Warsi will have something interesting to say about the Rishi Sunak versus Liz Truss vote. She might also be funny – she did win Channel 4's Stand Up And Deliver, where non-comics tried their hand at stand-up for charity. Comic Nick Helm was Warsi's mentor and coach and despite their political differences it seemed to work out. Nick Helm thought he'd drawn the short straw by having to tutor a Tory politician. What on earth would they have in common? Would she even have a sense of humour? But like some corny feelgood movie she found her comedy chops and they bonded by the end. Not that it changed Helm's political views. Or, we presume, Baroness Warsi's.

Frankie Boyle has recently written his debut novel, Meantime, and as well as getting god reviews it is already one of the.nominees for this year's Bloody Scotland Debut Prize even though it is not even officially published until July 22. The book is described as a picaresque detective story set against the backdrop of post referendum Scotland.

Jess Robinson is one of the country's top impressionists. You'll believe Amy Winehouse is in the room. And Kate Bush. You can also see her new show at the Edinburgh Fringe this August. Details here.

Oh, and if you are a Josh Widdicombe fan stick around on Channel 4 after The Last Leg for the broadcast of his most recent stand-up show, Bit Much.. filmed at the London Palladium.

The Last Leg, 10pm, C4, Friday, July 22.

Josh Widdicombe: Bit Much...11.05pm, C4, Friday, July 22.
