South Park Studios, in partnership with Paramount, is launching The South Park 25th Anniversary Pop-Up bringing exclusive shops to five countries around the world, including Soho in London for three days only from Friday 12th – Sunday 14th August.
Each shop will feature an array of Instagrammable moments, unique photo ops, interactive elements, original artifacts from the series, and plenty of South Park easter eggs. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase localised merchandise and merchandise featuring best-loved characters.
The first shop opens tomorrow in Mexico City on July 29th, and will subsequently be in London from August 12th, Berlin, on August 19th, Tokyo on September 16th, and Lucca, Italy on October 28th. The shops will be open for one weekend only from Friday-Sunday.
South Park The 25th Anniversary Concert starring South Park co-creators Trey Parker & Matt Stone, Primus and Ween will launch on Paramount+ in the US and in international territories this August. Filmed in Colorado at the renowned Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the concert celebrates the essential role music has played in the iconic series since its debut 25 years ago.
South Park The 25th Anniversary Concert will premiere on Comedy Central UK on Friday 26th August at 11pm, before launching on Paramount+ UK on Saturday 27th August.
South Park is a five-time Emmy Award-winning adult animated American sitcom, created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. It is broadcast on Comedy Central in the U.S. and on various channels in other countries. The series launched on August 13, 1997 and is currently in its twenty-fifth season.
MTV Entertainment Studios' expansive deal with Parker and Stone includes extending South Park on Comedy Central through 2027 and taking cable's longest-running scripted series through an unprecedented 30th season. In addition to the series extension, the new deal includes 14 South Park original made-for-streaming movies exclusively for Paramount+, including last year’s SOUTH PARK POST COVID and SOUTH PARK POST COVID: THE RETURN OF COVID as well as this year’s SOUTH PARK THE STREAMING WARS and SOUTH PARK THE STREAMING WARS PART 2. The series has earned five Emmy Awards, to date, and a George Foster Peabody Award.
