Jerry Sadowitz Margate Gig Cancelled/Postponed/Ain’t Happening

Jerry Sadowitz – “I wouldn’t continue performing if it was just an audience of Nazis.

Controversial comedian Jerry Sadowitz's upcoming gig in Margate is no longer happening.

According to a message on the promoter Walnut Whip's website, the show is "Cancelled/Postponed/Ain’t Happening. Sadly, the advertised show on September 17th won’t now be happening for a variety of reasons. We’re still on good terms with Jerry Sadowitz and are hoping to arrange something in the near future."

Sadowitz was due to launch the new comedy club night on September 17 at the Olby's venue. The club now hopes to be launching in December at a different location – the Famous Cliff Bar at Margate Lido.

No further details have been given by the promoters at this stage but you can read more here.

Sadowiz is touring this autumn with his Not For Anyone show and following the cancellation of his show in Edinburgh in August BTJ has heard that there is more interest in Sadowitz than there has been for years. He recently added a show at the Eventim Apollo in London on November 15. Details here.
