The best reviewed shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022 have been revealed following an analysis of coverage by The British Comedy Guide.
I, Daniel Blake star Dave Johns was the best reviewed performer, although he did not play the full month and only received six reviews.
Second place went to Jordan Gray, whose show Is It A Bird? was widely acclaimed and picked up a Dave Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Show.
Third place went to Paul Sinha whose cannily titled show One Sinha Lifetime at The Stand received seven reviews including a five star review from fellow comedian Stewart Lee. Sinha has been outspoken about he lack of coverage given to shows without PR support. This year there was less coverage due to less critics being at the Fringe and those that were reviewing shows being squeezed for space.
Fourth was Mischief Movie Night and fifth was Olga Koch.
