Following the success of his first event in June, Britain’s Got Talent winner Lost Voice Guy will again by making comedy accessible for everyone when he brings his next comedy showcase to the Gosforth Civic Theatre on Saturday 8th October 2022. 

The event will have a British Sign Language interpreter on stage during the show, meaning that the performance will be accessible to everyone. 

The night will be hosted by Lost Voice Guy (also known as Lee Ridley) and will feature three of his favourite acts from the comedy circuit. 

Joining Lost Voice Guy’s Comedy Showcase this time around will be fellow Britain’s Got Talent winner, Jon Courtenay. Comedian and musician, Jon, is the first-ever Golden Buzzer Act to win the ITV show. 

Also on the bill is a legend of the comedy circuit, Freddy Quinne.  Freddy is a comedic powerhouse - regularly performing his shamelessly opinionated, no-holds-barred stand-up at the biggest comedy clubs in the country.

Completing the lineup will be one of the North East’s funniest people, Sammy Dobson. She has performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe whilst also appearing in alternative pantomimes and sketch shows in her native Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. She recently appeared on BBC Radio 4 on Fred MacAulay’s ‘Fred at The Stand’.

Talking about the night, Lee said: “I had such a great time hosting the first showcase in June and I’m sure this one will be even better. It was really nice seeing so many deaf people in the audience having a laugh. For some, it was their first ever time at a comedy night, which meant a lot to me. I firmly believe that comedy should be for everyone to enjoy, and I hope that my showcase can help make that happen.
