Comedian Pierre Novellie Co-Hosts New Podcast About BBC Series SAS Rogue Heroes

Spencer Matthews and comedian Pierre Novellie unpack the new action-packed BBC series SAS Rogue Heroes, with the help of military historian Lucy Betteridge-Dyson in a new podcast, Obsessed With… SAS Rogue Heroes, on BBC Sounds.

Based on true events, the show is a dramatised account of the SAS during World War II. But this isn't history as you know it. From the creator of Peaky Blinders, the show is star-studded, featuring the likes of Connor Swindells, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Allen, Sofia Boutella and Dominic West, in an adrenaline-fuelled tribute to the fearless, maverick soldiers who inspired the series.

Spencer and Pierre will be unpacking the series episode by episode, sorting the facts from the fiction as they go. They will also be chatting to cast members and military experts to bring you exclusive insights into how this extraordinary story was brought to life.

Spencer Matthews says: “SAS Rogue Heroes is a great show and the origins of the Special Air Service is something that’s always interested me. To be asked to host BBC Sounds’ Obsessed With… series is exciting and I look forward to you all getting involved!”

The first three episodes of Obsessed With… SAS Rogue Heroes will be available on BBC Sounds on 30 October, with the following three episodes landing on 6 November.

SAS Rogue Heroes begins at 9pm on Sunday 30 October on BBC One, with all episodes then available on BBC iPlayer
