The BBC was hoping to release a short teaser from the forthcoming unheard Chris Morris sketch, which was due to be broadcast in its entirety on Mary Anne Hobbes' 6 Music show on Sunday, December 7, between 7am and 10am (the BBC hasn't specified when during the broadcast it will go out). The teaser and the sketch will now not be broadcast as per above.
The sketch is the first 'new' radio performance from Morris for 14 years. Also appearing in it are Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade. The exclusive broadcast follows last Saturday's three-hour Morris documentary, Raw Meat Radio, which was presented by Hobbes.
Morris has said the following about the 8 minute 46 second clip: "This is a work in progress cut from a project that was stored in a vat but still seems to be breathing or at least emitting gas. The series is set in a care home and records a number of vexatious encounters between a new resident, Victor and his long suffering Care Manager."
It is written by Morris, Fielding and Ayoade and directed and produced by Chris Morris.
