Man Like Haks To Prank Nation In New Channel 4 Comedy

Social media comedian, Hakan Hassan, is most famously known as Man Like Haks – an all-out prankster. In this laugh-out-loud digital comedy series, Man Like Haks will be taking his pranking talent to a whole new level as he uses his quick-witted humour and wonderfully cultivated caricatures to prank regular people.

In LifeHaks (3X12’)  produced by Brown Bred Productions, each episode will follow one character (played by Haks) who, in one way or another, is unleashed into the real world with one goal - to create ultimate chaos.

We’ll follow Haks as each character gets caught up in outrageous scenarios which all take place in front of the British public. But Haks won’t let them pass by without getting them involved - whilst they believe the chaos around them is real – they have no clue that they are starring in a comedy series.

EPISODE 1 (Launched Wednesday 7 December)
How does a watermelon donner kebab sound to you after a boozy night-out? Or a pure basil sauce to give your kebab that extra kick of flavour? In this first episode, Haks will transform himself into ‘Man Like Screws’ AKA The Vegan Roadman, as he ventures into the world of veganism to transform Uncle Ali’s Fish and Kebab shop into a totally meat-free eatery. During his mission, Screws pays a visit to Hackney City Farm to draw the suffering of animals closer to his cause, quite literally, and enlists vegan chef, Kirk, aka ‘Man like Kirk’, to develop a wholly vegan menu and experience. But when launch day descends into complete chaos, Screws is the one put on the chopping block by a visibly infuriated and meat loving Ali, to the surprise of his guests.

LifeHaks will be drop on Wednesday 7 December on Channel 4’s Comedy YouTube.

Charlie Hyland said: “Haks is someone who we were really excited to work with and we’re so thrilled that we’ve got this unique vehicle to showcase his outstanding talent. There’s nobody who can do what he does and I cannot wait for audiences to discover his razor sharp wit and iconic character creations as they’re unleashed onto the public”

LifeHaks is produced by Brown Bred Productions and is exec produced by Joe Varley and Akash Lockmun. It was commissioned for Channel 4’s Comedy YouTube by Commissioning Editor Charlie Hyland.
