Netflix have commissioned A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou, a comedy special written by and starring quadruple BAFTA winner Jamie Demetriou and produced by BBC Studios Productions and Guilty Party Pictures.
A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou takes the audience on a journey from birth to death through the ever adored medium of song and sketch - unpacking the most crucial, embarrassing, heartening and ultimately futile stages of a life lived in the anxious modern day.
Each stage of life is articulated through a different character played by Jamie; and he's joined by an array of some of the best UK comedy talent including Ellie White, Sian Clifford, Jon Pointing, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Katy Wix amongst many more.

It's as original, daring, and hilarious as we have come to expect from (to be fair) the comic voice of his generation.”
The executive producers for A Whole Lifetime with Jamie Demetriou are Josh Cole (for BBC Studios), Simon Bird and Jonny Sweet (for Guilty Party), Andrew Gaynord and Demetriou himself who also writes and stars. The special is produced by Olly Cambridge and directed by Andrew Gaynord.
Demetriou is represented by Kitty Laing and Charlotte Davies at United Agents and CAA and managed by Dianne McGunigle at MGMT Entertainment.
STATH LETS FLATS ran for three series on Channel 4. Airing in the US on HBO Max, the series has received widespread critical acclaim. In 2020, Jamie won three prestigious BAFTAs for the show: Comedy Writer, Scripted Comedy and Male Comedy Performance. In 2022 he picked up a further BAFTA again for Male Comedy Performance.
Other notable TV and Film credits include Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s phenomenon Fleabag, Apple TV+’s murder-mystery series The Afterparty, hit mockumentary series Documentary Now! from Seth Meyers and Fred Armisen, Hulu’s The Great, Miracle Workers opposite Daniel Radcliffe, Disney’s Cruella and Working Title’s smash hit Paddington 2. It has recently been announced that he will also star in the upcoming feature BARBIE, opposite Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
