This week's Jonathan Ross Show features an interview with comedian Greg Davies, who is going to be pretty impossible to avoid in the next few weeks.
Davies is back as the host of Taskmaster which returns to Channel 4 on Thursdays at 9pm from March 30, but before then he also returns as the star of BBC One comedy The Cleaner from Friday, March 24 at 9.30pm.
In the sitcom Davies plays a man who has to clean up after messy murders have taken place. Each week he deals with a different case featuring a different cast. Guests in the series include Zoë Wanamaker (Britannia), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Harriet Walter (This Is Going to Hurt), Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral), John MacMillan (House of the Dragon), Alex Lawther (The End of the F..ing World), Susannah Fielding (This Time With Alan Partridge), Roisin Conaty (After Life), Mark Lewis Jones (Outlander), Rudi Dharmalingam (The Split), Joshua McCord (The Tuckers), Louis Emerick (Zapped), Amy Morgan (Mr Selfridge), Charlie Rawes (Dune), Jemma Carlton (Maxine), Shakin’ Stevens, Rebecca Lee (Call the Midwife), Cassius Thompson and Zita Sattar returning in her role as PS Ruth Edwards.
Also on The Jonathan Ross Show are Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and star of hit show Succession, Brian Cox. At least we preseume it is the Succession star and not the ever-youthful scientific co-host of The Infinite Monkey Cage. It recently emerged that there had finally been an inevitable case of mistaken identity when they were both booked into the same hotel, causing much confusion at the check-in desk.
Aniston and Sandler will be talking about their new film Murder Mystery 2, which they recently talked about on This Morning where Aniston said a little rude word not suitable for daytime TV: "s**** and giggles!”
The Jonathan Ross Show, Saturday, March 25, ITV1.
