The guests tonight on The Jonathan Ross Show tonight are comedian Desiree Burch, musician Ed Sheeran, actor/singer Lily Allen, crooner Michael Buble and Hollywood film star Russell Crowe.
As well as being a stand up comedian, storyteller and former contestant on Taskmaster, Burch was recently seen as the dry-witted host of Netflix reality TV show Too Hot To Handle. In an interview with Distractify she said: "I cannot take all of the credit for what it is that you see watching the show. Like it takes a village."
She adds her commentary during the edit. "I'm just as excited to see the show as everybody else, except I see a slightly longer one because they're trying to figure out what the story is and what to keep and what to cut and how to like sort of hone it down."
Ed Sheeran talks to Jonathan about what reality TV show he would like to appear on. He said: "The one I would do is probably I’m A Celebrity... it looks quite fun. Genuinely. It looks fun. If I had time off, you go in a jungle with a bunch of people you sort of know..."
He also talks about writing to Robbie Williams and also his grief when his best friend Jamal Edwards died: "Grief is a very solitary thing, you think you’re the only one going through it, but obviously lots of people understand stuff. I felt after Jamal’s death everyone rallies around people and then after a week it kind of goes and you’re meant to get back to normal life. Grief is something you live with… it has to be something you embrace in a way. I’ve got amazing memories of him that make me happy but also sad at the same time."
Lily Allen is due to appear on Sky from next week in the new comedy drama Dreamland, set in the seaside resort of Margate.
