Jonathan’s guests this week include the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award-winning performer John Legend, star of Thor: Ragnarok Jeff Goldblum, The 1% Club host Lee Mack, Strictly’s Shirley Ballas and comedian-turned-film star Jack Whitehall.

This current run has thrown together some decent guests and there's a strong comedy element this week with both Mack and Jack. Lee Mack is simply one of the funniest men on TV, with his quickfire quips always brightening up Would I Lie to You? and more recently having a Saturday night prime time hit with the quirky quiz show  The 1% Club. 

And there is more to Mack than meets the eye. He is not merely a cookie cutter cheeky chappy. Despite his early days working in holiday camps he is a deep, philosophical person who is a vegan and meditates. Mack has long had an interest in Buddhism, mindfulness and the possibility of leading a more spiritual life and even has a podcast about seeking spiritual enlightenment entitled ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Buddha’ with his friend Neil Webster.

Jack Whitehall has recently announced that he is going back on the road with a new show entitled Settle Down. For older readers the phrase might remind them of comic Ken Goodwin, whose catchphrase was "Settle down now", but in Whitehall's case this is a reference to the fact that he is getting to the age where he thinks he ought to hava more settled life. 

Whitehall says of the tour: “This is my most personal show yet, with plenty of material about the big changes that have happened in my life. It’s about my struggle to settle down gracefully. I’ve got a long-term partner, a ridiculous dog and am now hurtling towards middle aged without a clue.
