Stand-up, filmmaker and viral Twitter star Stuart Laws' brand new comedy special is set to be released on 20th April 2023. Released by 800 Pound Gorilla Media, the special will be available to watch for free via YouTube.
In ‘Stuart Laws is All In’, the Ruislip-based stand-up reflects on the day his life changed forever: when he risked everything in a Las Vegas poker tournament. Is he a winner or a loser? Can he burn the candle at both ends? And has he been infected by the Willennium Bug? A show about making difficult decisions, choosing different paths and gettin' jiggy wit' it from the leftfield observationalist and intricate gag-weaver.
The show started as a British Comedy Guide Recommended show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019. It had a national tour in 2020, a sold out run at The Soho Theatre in 2021 and then filmed the show at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in 2022. This is the first comedy special to be filmed at the festival.
Stuart is a comedian, actor, director and writer. Nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2021, shortlisted for Comedian’s Choice Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival 2022 and has amassed over 10 million views on TikTok. On TV and Radio, he’s appeared on Live From Aberystwyth Pier (BBC One) and DMs Are Open (BBC Radio 4), written and appeared in the Prime comedy series Grave New World, as well as produced James Acaster's four Netflix specials and supported him on tour. Stuart has two comedy specials on NextUp Comedy and his critically acclaimed play “The Journey” was produced by The Pleasance.
