Comedian Markus Birdman has appeared in the semi-final of Britain's Got Talent. The 52-year-old Essex comedian, who has had two strokes, was hoping to make it through to the final and a chance of winning £250,000 and appearing in the Royal Variety Performance.
Birdman was up against singers Dylan B and Travis George, young guitarist Harry Churchill, yo-yo trickstersToy Toy Toy, illusionist Miki Dark whose illusion nearly beheaded one of the judges, dance troupes Notorious and Ghetto Kids (who received a Golden Buzzer from Bruno Tonioli).
Unfortunately Birdman did not make it through. Ghetto Kids and Travis George made it to the final.
There will be some comedy in the final on Sunday though. Viggo Venn got through last night.
