Following a run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2022 and a tour across the UK and Europe, Sean McLoughlin’s acclaimed stand-up hour ‘So Be It’ is set to be released as a special on 23rd June 2023. Produced and distributed by 800 Pound Gorilla Media, the special will be available to watch on their website, followed by a wider release on YouTube and other on demand platforms from 27th July.  

The world may be a strange and scary place, but life is still worth living. Sure, the west is  collapsing, the corporations now control our every waking moment and the government  may kick Sean’s wife out of the country any day. But life is still worth living, right? ‘So Be It’ is the funniest, sharpest and (whisper it) most optimistic of Sean’s critically-acclaimed shows.  

Hugely in-demand in the UK and internationally, Sean recently opened for Ricky Gervais in  front of hundreds of thousands of people on his international arena tour, having previously  opened for Bill Burr at the Royal Albert Hall and performing a gala show at the Sydney Opera 

House. His last Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Hail Mary’ was a huge critical and commercial success that toured across Europe, Australia and North America, and released as his second album with U.S.-based label 800lb Gorilla Records.  

Sean’s TV appearances include The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV), Stand Up Central (Comedy  Central), Comedy Central At The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), and a role on Netflix’s smash hit series After Life. He was also one of the stars of the 5-part Viceland series Brexit Stage Left  and has written extensively for panel shows, as well as major international TV Awards shows.  He currently has two sitcoms in active development.
