Top notch comedy guests this week on Sunday Brunch. Bridget Christie talking about her fabulous new C4 series The Change, Nick Mohammed talking about his tour as Mr Swallow and possibly Ted Lasso too, and Mash Report star Ellie Taylor, who is on Bake Off: The Professionals on July 4.

Bridget Christie's Channel 4 comedy The Change has been getting rave reviews. Christie worked on it for seven years and it shows. It is ostensibly about a woman ditching her previous boring life and moving to a caravan in a forest when she goes through the menopause, but there is a lot more going on here. The title can also refer to communities fighting back against big corporations who want to change a way of life that has existed for many years.

It also has a great supporting cast alongsaide Christie. Omid Djalili plays her useless husband, Paul Whitehouse, Jim Howick, Monica Dolan (who can also be seen in the new Black Mirror episode Loch Henry), Susan Lynch and Jerome Flynn all pop up. It's on C4 on Wednesday nights but is all available now as a boxed set on All4. 

Christie is also doing a live gig in Regent's Park next week on July 9 and is then taking her show, Who Am I? to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Nick Mohammed is now best known for his role as Nate in Ted Lasso. The Apple TV series ended recently but no doubt there is speculation about whether there will be another season. We doubt if Mohammed will spill any beans but it will be interesting to see what he says.

He will also be talking about his comic creation, Mr Swallow, who he is taking on tour. Swallow is a hapless control freak. The live show features him on roller skates, just for some jeopardy, and also some genuine magic tricks. Mohammed is a member of the Magic Circle so cannot possibly reveal how the tricks are done.
