Amused Moose Comedy Awards 2023 entries have opened for comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.

The Awards focus on discovering 'unknown' comedy talent performing their shows on at least ten dates as listed in the comedy section of edfringe.com. 

The Awards ethos is to ensure that every Fringe performer (who meets entry criteria including being based in UK/RoI) who wishes their comedy show to be included, can be sure that it will be seen by talent scouts. 

All entrants must submit a link to a film of their show (ideally a preview) with their entry, and our team of online panellists who are already eagerly waiting will watch every single entry asap.  

The judging panel includes a live comedy producer in America and three reviewers (so more chance of getting reviews too, always tricky for unknowns), as well as producers and agents, all of whom classify themselves as talent scouts. 

Once the Fringe starts, the shows which online panellists believe have most potential are seen live at the Fringe by our 'live' panellists. 

Convention has it that the winning shows are presented with their trophies by the Fringe CEO (therefore gaining media exposure), and perform in London at Soho Theatre.
