Jesse Armstrong, the multi Emmy award-winning creator of the critically acclaimed HBO show Succession, is set to join podcasters Sara Barron and Geoff Lloyd on stage for a live edition of their hit TV podcast, They Like To Watch.

Comedian Barron, and her radio presenter husband Lloyd initially started the show as a conversation dedicated to Succession, quickly growing a robust listenership and attracting a slew of special guests from the show’s cast and crew. Notable previous guests have included Hollywood star Alexander Skarsgård (Lukas Matsson), comic actor Justine Lupe (Willa Ferreyra), and acclaimed playwright and screenwriter Lucy Prebble. 

Now festival-goers will get an exclusive deep dive into the show’s conception and evolution from the mind behind it all – Jesse Armstrong.

The live podcast session is scheduled to take place at the Assembly Ballroom on Saturday, 26th August, at 12 noon. Fans will be treated to Armstrong’s unique insights on the creation and making of Succession. 

More than just a behind-the-scenes recount, Armstrong will share his personal reflections since the final episode aired in May, providing a rare opportunity to connect with the mastermind behind one of television’s most celebrated dramas.
