Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and social media star Josh Pugh is launching Josh Pugh’s Cult Heroes (@CultHeroesPod), has launched his brand new podcast where each week he interviews guests that hail from an eclectic variety of professions and life experiences.
Josh alongside Connor Kent who co-hosts, will celebrate guests and explore their unique insight into their industries. Describing the format, Josh said “Imagine you’re at a wedding and you find out that someone at your table does something you don’t know anything about, and you can just spend the rest of the evening picking their brains about it. This podcast is that.”
Josh Pugh’s Cult Heroes will allow listeners to hear deep dives with familiar names and discover those uncovered gems that deserve to be lauded. Guests across the 12 episode series include Peter Serafinowicz, former One Direction hair stylist Lou Teasdale and magician Alan Hudson.
The series launches on the 4th of October 2023, with mathematics teacher Bobby Seagull and will be released weekly.
The podcast is produced by Connor Kent & Joe Power, and recorded at ITN Studios.
Josh Pugh has featured on ‘Mock the Week', 'Hypothetical', 'The Last Leg', 'As Yet Untitled', and acts as head judge in this year's BBCs 'New Comedy Awards'.
