The launch of new ITVX Comedy Drama C*A*U*G*H*T has been postponed. 

The broadcaster has released the following statement. 

"In light of current events, the launch date of C*A*U*G*H*T on ITVX will be delayed until further notice. We will be in touch when a new streaming date is confirmed."

C*A*U*G*H*T follows four Australian soldiers sent on a secret mission to a war-torn country. Mistaken for Americans, they are captured by freedom fighters and produce a hostage video that goes viral.

When the soldiers reach celebrity status, they realise that being caught might just be the best thing that could’ve happened to them.

Director, producer and writer Kick Gurry (Edge of Tomorrow) stars in the six-episode series alongside Sean Penn (pictured) , Matthew Fox, Ben O’Toole, Lincoln Younes, Alexander England, Mel Jarnson, Fayssal Bazzi, Dorian Nkono and Rebecca Breeds. 

C*A*U*G*H*T was due to stream on ITVX from October 12.
