Tickets are now on sale for literary/arts festival The Laugharne Weekend 2024, which takes place in the picturesque town of Laugharne in Carmarthenshire from March 15 - 17 next Spring. The town is famous as the place where Welsh poet Dylan Thomas lived and wrote some of his best work. That's his image in the logo on this page.
The line-up is an inspiring mix of musicians, poets, writers, artists and comedians and much more. Some will be reading and discussing their latest books, some will be performing intimate gigs in one of the venues. All shows are within walking distance of each other. The entry price gives access to all performances (subject to space).
On the comedy side the guests will include alternative stand-up legend Alexei Sayle, Confessions star Robin Askwith, Welsh comic Kiri Pritchard MacLean and festival regulars Isy Suttie and Robin Ince.
Also appearing are Mike Brearley, Cerys Matthews & Arun Ghosh, Tim Burgess & Helen O’Hara, Caitlin Moran, Tracey Thorn, John Niven being interviewed by James Dean Bradfield, Irvine Welsh, Jeremy Dellar, Will Sergeant, Martin & Eliza Carthy, James Brown & Allan Jones, Horatio Clare, Daljit Nagra, Chris Bryant MP, Sheena Patel, The Secret Tory MP, Pete Paphides, Fflur Dafydd, Catherine Taylor, Natasha Walter and lots more.
