Alistair Barries is bringing his Woke In Progress show to The Comedy Store for one night only. The gig will be filmed for streaming service Next Up And Barrie will be supported by Chris McCausland and Maria Shehata.
Alistair Barrie wasn’t planning a new show this year but then the government decided to play musical chairs in Downing Street. Liz Truss blamed her downfall on ‘woke culture,’ and Rishi Sunak blames anyone except himself. If you agree, this probably isn’t the show for you. But if you like topical comedy from a man trying to avoid putting his kids to bed, you’ll be glad to hear comedians are one of the few professions not on strike right now.
Comedy Store stalwart Alistair Barrie is perhaps one of the best kept secrets on the UK comedy circuit. He has headlined shows in over 40 countries and appeared on TV and radio all over the world.
The Comedy Store show comes in the middle of his extensive tour. See all the other dates here.
