Victoria Coren Mitchell and David Mitchelll have had a second child.

Coren Mitchell revealed the news on social media. On Halloween she had posted a picture of herself in a scarlet cloak looking like Red Riding Hood and the cryptic words "DO FOLLOW ME". The following day she posted: "Many people are assuming my tweet yesterday was a Halloween costume. Not at all; last week I had a baby and nothing currently fits me except cloaks. Luckily, Only Connect is a pre-record. Happy All Saints Day!"

The couple also announced the news in a more conventional way in The Times. "MITCHELL – on 26th October 2023 to Victoria and David, a daughter, June Violet sister to Barbara.’

Coren Mitchell had not announced the pregnancy so the news came as a surprise to many fans.

Victoria Coren Mitchell can currently be seen hosting Only Connect on Monday nights at 8pm on BBC Two - the programme is pre-recorded.
