Britain's Got Talent Winner Axel Blake Releases Stand Up Special

Britain’s Got Talent winner Axel Blake’s new stand-up comedy hour ‘In Style’ is set to be released as a special on the 6th of December 2023.

Produced and distributed by 800 Pound Gorilla Media, the special will be available to watch on their website as part of a “name your own price” offer. This will also include a free digital audio album of ‘In Style.’

In his brand-new stand-up comedy special ‘In Style’ comedian Axel Blake takes you on his dizzying journey to winning TV talent show Britain’s Got Talent, and all the adventures of his daily life in between. Get ready for a hilarious, honest and relatable performance covering everything from Axel’s unique take on plane travel, rolling the dice with being lactose intolerant, plights of the gym, his strong views on ketchup storage and all that comes with being a partner and raising kids (expensive trampoline socks anyone?).

London born Blake has built his reputation playing the London comedy circuit as well as engaging fans on social media. Despite building a loyal following and selling out a self-produced headline show at Indigo at The O2 in 2018, Axel did not receive mainstream success until auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent in 2022, which saw him receive Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer. His charismatic and captivating comedy won the hearts and laughs of the audience propelling him all the way to the finals and then onto winning the coveted competition and a spot at The Royal Variety Performance (ITV).

Following this success, Axel performed a 40-date plus UK tour including a sold-out performance at London’s Apollo Theatre. His TV and radio appearances include guest slots on programmes such as Don’t Call the Playaz (ITV), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV), Tipping Point (ITV), Ru Paul’s Lingo (ITV) and The Big Breakfast (Channel 4). Axel hosted his own end of year comedy review radio show on Capital Xtra to close off 2022, and in 2023 began co-hosting a new podcast ‘Like Father Like Fun’ with his teenage son Nyron, in which they talk about life, compare experiences and challenge each other - available on Youtube and all podcast platforms.

Prior to his commercial success, Axel’s career highlights included presenting for Crep Protect, UNILAD and SBTV and earning support slots alongside household names including comedians such as Eddie Griffin and Dave Chappelle.

is also set to headline a gig at London’s O2 Indigo on 29th December.
