The 100th epiasode of Lee Mack's sitcom Not Going Out has split fans following its broadcast on BBC One on Christmas Eve. In the latest episode of the hit sitcom Lee's character takes in an elderly man from a care home for their family Christmas lunch. What was intended as a good deed goes pear-shaped when the man dies suddenly and Lee has to hide the body so that it doesn't spoilt everyone's day. Farce ensues as he attempts to conceal the corpse...
The storyline did not satisfy everyone though and fans took to the show's Facebook page to express their opinions. One poster wrote: "Utter tripe...so was the last series...she's georgous...he's brilliant but it's lost its sparkle."
Someone agrred: "I genuinely don’t know what was good about it. Thought it was really weak. Just my opinion"
Another wrote: "As I said one another post , missed opportunity to introduce a new character , an Uncle Albert one. A way to bring in new ideas."
And someone who gave it a lot of thought after watching it added: "Disappointing! Not a patch on previous episodes, time to put it out of its misery. Bobby Ball sadly missed. I thought the first Father Christmas was an older version of Lee or what he will turn in to. Could have done better!"
Someone else who was note entirely pleased wrote: "Biggest laugh I had tonight was an ironic one at myself for having spent so long looking forward to this episode."
But another wrote: "Fantastic episode best for a while, so funny x"
And another wrote: "I thought it was fantastic. Not sure the neighbours would appreciate the howling of laughter from us!"
Elsewhere a post said: "Really great to see all characters participate, proves NGO is still strong. Great Christmas episode
