Matt Green, THAT GUY you've seen on Twitter being funny about politics, is embarking on his debut national tour with a hilarious stand up show featuring lots of jokes about politics and lots of jokes not about politics. That probably covers it. This side-splitting stand-up show promises to be an uproarious blend of political humour, observational comedy and personal stories that will leave audiences in stitches.
There is an extra date in London at 21 Soho on 7 March after his first date at that venue sold out. See below for dates.
With his razor-sharp wit and astute observations, Matt has achieved millions of views and much acclaim for his online satirical comedy videos. LBC’s James O’Brien said: “I should, by rights, retweet and praise every single thing Matt Green does. He is absurdly brilliant…Man’s a genius” and comedy legend Stewart Lee gave Matt’s videos a five star rating in his Cultural Year in 2022.
Matt has been performing stand up comedy for 20 years, and THAT GUY marks his triumphant return to the stage with his take on the chaotic political climate and everything else that has made the world feel topsy-turvy in recent times.
In this unmissable tour, Matt takes on the challenge of making sense of the world as we head into another year of elections, culture wars and who knows what else. Plus we discover exactly who is THAT GUY behind the videos?
The show even features a special appearance from a Tory Minister, as long as Matt can afford his daily rate!
A regular contributor to Times Radio’s comedy panel and hit political podcast Oh God What Now?, Matt has also appeared on TV shows such as Doctor Who, Mrs Sidhu Investigates, Late Night Mash, Avoidance, The Witchfinder, Ten Percent, In The Long Run, Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace and many more.
Don't miss your chance to see Matt Green's uproarious THAT GUY UK Tour, where he effortlessly combines topicality, charm, and wit into a perfectly paced evening of laughter.
