Richard Osman's House of Games Champions Week

Richard Osman's House of Games Champions Week

Whoop whoop, it is Champions Week on Richard Osman's House of Games with Kaye Adams, Alex Brooker, Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Isy Suttie competing for the bragging rights and the golden trophy.

Isy Suttie may be best known for her portrayal of Dobby in Peep Show but she is also an accomplished stand-up comedian as well as an acclaimed novelist. She also briefly appeared in the new film Wonka selling fruit and veg. Let's see if she knows her onions on this week's House of Games.

Kiell Smith-Bynoe is best known for his starring role on the award-winning BBC sitcom Ghosts, but he recently also made a splash on Taskmaster. Although he didn't win it he then went on to make history as the only non-winner to appear on Taskmaster's Champion of Champions when the winner of his series, Mae Martin, was unavailable to take part. So Smith-Bynoe certainly knows something about the pressures of appearing.on a champions show.

Alex Brooker is most famous as a member of the Last Leg presenting team on Channel 4 alongside Josh Widdicombe and Adam Hills, but it's a busy week for him - he is this week's guest presenter on Pointless which finishes on BBC One just as House of Games starts on BBC Two. And Kaye Adams is another experienced TV presenter, best known in recent years for fronting Loose Women.

It's a very strong line-up then and only a fool would predict the winner. So I'll be that fool and say that I think Isy Suttie will come out on top – stand up comedians have a terrific track record on this show - their brains seem well suited to the quirky questions and wordplay. Then again Kaye Adams, Alex Brooker and Kiell Smith-Bynoe are all good with words and good at keeping cool under pressure so it could be a pretty open week with anyone claiming the prestigious prizes and going home with the title. In other words, your guess is as good as mine.
